UK limited companies are legally required to have a UK registered office. Our registered office service covers use of our address for official government mail only. This address cannot be used for general business correspondence, for which you must also purchase our Business Address Service (Our Business package covers both official and business mail). Using a Registered Office Address has the added benefit of protecting your personal address from appearing on the public register.

By default, your official mail will be scanned and emailed to you daily. We do not charge to scan and email or forward your company’s official mail to you. Let us know how you would like your mail to be forwarded via your admin panel and we will follow these instructions.
Should you need a hardcopy of a letter that has been scanned, please let us know within two weeks of the upload date via your client portal and it will be posted to your mailing address.

Yes, however you will need to purchase our ‘registered office & director service address’ package for £49.99 per year.

Anybody who becomes a director or officer of a company must be prepared to give a correspondence address for the public register. Our director service address covers all your companies’ directors and allows them to maintain their privacy by using our address. This will be the same as the registered office address of the company.

The account holder is required to supply proof of ID (passport, driving licence photocard, government-issued ID card, HM Forces ID card, valid Student card, employment ID card, disabled driver blue badge) and proof of address documentation (utility bill, bank statement, mortgage statement, HMRC Notice of Coding) within seven days.

This is to ensure that we comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and ‘Know Your Customer’ requirements. You will be shown where to upload your ID once your order is complete.

A Director Service Address can also be used as the Registered Office Address but must be added to your order because there is a separate charge to use the address as the company’s Registered Office Address.

You will be required to fill out a short form which asks the details of your Company Name, Account Holder Details and Personal Mailing Address.

Once you complete the form on your account, we submit this to Companies House after we have reviewed your submission. If this is submitted during business hours, it may take up to 24 hours for your company to be formed. However, it could take longer.

No, we only incorporate LTD/LIMITED (with ordinary shares) companies. However, you may still use our choice of prestigious addresses for any other company type, including LLP, LLC or CIC.

A PSC is a ‘Person with Significant Control’. It is a mandatory requirement for all companies to have a PSC.

No, a company secretary is optional.

After your company is formed, you will receive four documents, including a Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association and First Board Minutes. If you’d like a Share Certificate, this can be requested upon company formation.

No, your residential address is only required for admin purposes but does not appear on the public register, unless you choose to use your residential address elsewhere on the form.

A Certificate of Good Standing is an official document that confirms a company has met all its filing obligations with Companies House, such as the confirmation statement and annual accounts. The purpose of the Certificate of Good Standing is to demonstrate (to potential customers, partners, and investors) that a company is fully operational, compliant, and legitimate.

Financial institutions often will require a Certificate of Good Standing before a business bank account can be opened. Also, a business wishing to register in another country as a foreign corporation will, upon registration, must provide that country with a copy of a Certificate of Good Standing from its home jurisdiction.

Yes, our apostilled documents service will provide you with a certificate that proves your company documents are genuine. Your documents will be legalised by attaching a stamped official certificate (an ‘apostille’) to them.

Apostilled documents are normally required by non-UK residents who have opened a UK limited company and are required to provide apostilled documents in another country.

Yes! When you buy a Ready Made Company, you are acquiring a dormant UK company with no trading history, so you can rest assured that the company is financially clean and there are no outstanding burdens.

No. If you use our Ready Made Company, you can use our address as your company’s Registered Office and Directors Service Address (renewable on a yearly basis). By using our address, you are protecting your own address from being on the public register and searchable online.

No. Unfortunately we don’t offer this service at present.

If a dormant company becomes active again, there is a hard deadline for informing HMRC of this change in status. The newly active company is required to inform HMRC that it is no longer dormant within 3 months from the date on which it starts trading again or receives an income.
